The Speaker of the Bauchi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Dr. Abubakar Y. Suleiman (Dangaladiman Ningi), has congratulated the Emir of Bauchi, His Royal Highness Alhaji (Dr.) Rilwanu Sulaiman Adamu, on his 15th anniversary on the throne, describing him as a symbol of unity, peace, and societal development.
In a statement signed by his spokesperson, Mukhtar Garba Kobi, the Speaker lauded the monarch’s outstanding leadership qualities and unwavering commitment to promoting peace, skills acquisition, and responsible parenting across the State.
He noted that the Emir’s philanthropic gestures transcend ethnic, religious, or regional boundaries, and his fatherly guidance has shaped a generation of youths who are honest, hardworking, and visionary.
“The Emir is a firm pillar of support for restoring societal values, moral discipline, and respect for constituted authorities,” the Speaker remarked.
He further highlighted the Emir’s advocacy for health and community welfare, particularly his encouragement for hygiene, immunization, and grassroots initiatives even in the absence of government support. He said the monarch’s firm stance against crime and his push for timely justice delivery has positively transformed communities.
Rt. Hon. Suleiman emphasized that the Emir’s 15-year reign has been marked by community transformation, revival of cultural values, and the upliftment of people’s well-being. He reaffirmed the readiness of the Bauchi State House of Assembly to continue supporting initiatives that promote peaceful coexistence, national unity, and economic growth.
