In a bold move, President Tinubu has suspended the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs And Poverty Alleviation, Betta Edu, drawing commendation for decisive action. The news, shared widely on social media, has been lauded as a stark contrast to the perceived shortcomings of previous administrations.


This is in a statement published in his Facebook page, an ex president of Mass Communication Students Association MACOSA ATAP CHAPTER Muhammad Umar Shehu.



Drawing a comparison, Muhammad noted that President Tinubu's approach differs significantly from Baba Maigaskiya, whose tenure was marred by issues like corruption, economic hardships, and other social vices.



"I have Just read that President Tinubu has suspended the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs And Poverty Alleviation, Betta Edu, this is commendable!"



Umar asserted that President Tinubu's decision deserves applause, emphasizing the need for a thorough investigation by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) into Betta Edu's actions.



The call for an EFCC investigation underscores the seriousness with which the public views the suspension, suggesting a desire for accountability and transparency.
