Sara Suka Menace in Bauchi metropolis: a cry for help

Bauchi metropolis has been grappling with a menace that has been making the lives of its residents miserable. This menace is known as Sara Suka, which refers to a group of young men who engage in violent and criminal activities in the city.


Sara Suka is a Hausa term that literally means "stab and cut." It is believed that the name originated from the violent and quick nature of the group's activities. The group is made up of mostly unemployed and underprivileged young men who resort to violence and crime as a means of survival.


The activities of Sara Suka have been a major source of concern for the people of Bauchi metropolis. The group engages in various criminal activities such as robbery, theft, assault, and rape. They operate mostly at night and target unsuspecting residents who are going about their daily activities.


The group is known for its brutal tactics, and their victims often sustain serious injuries. They use machetes and other dangerous weapons to carry out their attacks, leaving their victims with deep cuts and wounds. Many people have lost their lives at the hands of Sara Suka, and countless others have been left with permanent disabilities.


The activities of Sara Suka have had a significant impact on the economy of Bauchi metropolis. Many businesses have been forced to close down due to the constant threat of violence and theft. Residents live in constant fear of being attacked, and this has led to a general sense of insecurity in the city.


Efforts have been made by the Bauchi state government and law enforcement agencies to curb the activities of Sara Suka.
