EID EL-FITR: Bauchi State Speaker charges citizens on imbibing the spirit of unity, peace, prayers to leaders & country

  As Muslim faithfuls in Bauchi and beyond mark this year's Eid El-Fitr celebration, the Speaker of the Bauchi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Dr. Abubakar Y. Suleiman (Ɗangaladiman Ningi, Marafan Jihohin Yamma) joyfully joined in extending warmest celebratory regards. Eid El-Fitr signifies the end of obligatory Ramadan fasting which is a period for sober reflection, kindness to one another and forgiving the known and unknown wrongs.

  "The Eid should not be centered on feasting or celebrating alone, it should be a moment to revisit lessons learnt during the sacred month of Ramadan and abide to the noble Prophetic teachings in order to have a blessed life. Also, I implored Muslims to uphold in daily dealings the Prophet Muhammad's good attitudes of trust, honesty, contentment and empathy to all in needs. The Speaker advised. 

 He encouraged people on the importance of visits to the families and neighbors alongside children noting that such would make harmonious bonds stronger while teaching good morals to future generations. He pounded on the need to extend helps to orphans and vulnerable for them to have sense of belonging. He advised parents to be wary of whom their wards mingle with saying that bad peers could discard years of parental trainings in minutes. 

  Dr. Abubakar further charged citizens on being useful members of communities by imbibing the spirit of unity, forgiveness, peace, support to leaders while assisting them and the beloved Nigeria with incessant prayers. He tasked masses to continue supporting the present administration of His Excellency, Sen. Bala Mohammed Abdulƙadir (Ƙauran Daular Usmaniyya) for him to keep standardizing lives with gigantic projects in the capital and all LGAs.

  The Speaker expressed law makers' unmixed commitments on the people-oriented policies highlighting the Assembly's readiness to hammer swift legislations for all to thrive. He reminded on being security wise urging the public to report suspicious persons, movements or unwelcomed acts. On behalf of Hon. Members, Principal Officers and Management Staff of the Bauchi State House of Assembly, the Speaker wished for a peaceful, blissful and respectful Eid El-Fitr celebrations.
