The Speaker of the Bauchi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Dr. Abubakar Y. Suleiman (Ɗangaladiman Ningi), has congratulated Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Guwor on his emergence as Chairman of the Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures in Nigeria.
In a congratulatory message, the Bauchi Speaker described Guwor’s unopposed emergence as a clear testament to his credibility, competence, and unwavering commitment to legislative service.
Rt. Hon. Suleiman noted that celebrating the achievements of colleagues across the federation reflects the spirit of unity and mutual respect that strengthens democratic institutions.
“The unopposed emergence of Rt. Hon. Guwor reflects his suitability to lead the Conference of Speakers. His years of legislative experience, dedication to unity, and commitment to peace and development have earned him this responsibility. I am optimistic that he will discharge the duties of this office with professionalism, selflessness, and results-driven leadership,” the Bauchi Speaker stated.
As Chairman of the body comprising Speakers from the 36 State Houses of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Suleiman urged Guwor to provide inclusive leadership, embracing all members irrespective of differences, while working toward the collective objectives upon which the Conference was founded.
He also called on fellow Speakers nationwide to offer their full cooperation and support to the new Chairman, stressing that meaningful development can only thrive in an atmosphere of unity, cohesion, and shared purpose.
