Bauchi State Speaker Felicitates with Citizens on 2026 New Year, Urges Continued Support and Prayers The Speaker of the Bauch



The Speaker of the Bauchi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Dr. Abubakar Y. Suleiman (Ɗangaladiman Ningi), has felicitated with Nigerians, particularly the people of Bauchi State—the Pearl of Tourism—as the world ushers in the 2026 New Year.

In his New Year message, the Speaker expressed deep gratitude to Almighty God for His mercy, blessings, and protection throughout 2025, describing the year as one filled with both challenges and moments of joy.

He commended constituents across the state for their unwavering support, patience, and resilience despite prevailing social and security challenges.

“As we bid farewell to 2025 and welcome a new year, I am filled with excitement, hope, and optimism for a brighter future. The year 2025 came with both tears and smiles, but it also gave us the opportunity to reflect, remain resilient, and grow stronger,” Dr. Abubakar stated.

The Speaker emphasized that citizens deserve impactful representation, noting that their continued support and prayers remain the driving force behind legislative progress. He urged his colleagues in the House to remain steadfast in their collective commitment to building a greater Bauchi State and a stronger Nigeria.

Rt. Hon. Abubakar also extended commendations to both permanent and casual staff of the Bauchi State House of Assembly for their dedication and professionalism in promoting democratic ideals and effectively discharging their duties.

He further called on Nigerians to work collectively, harness their talents, respect the rule of law, and contribute meaningfully toward building a prosperous and economically viable nation.

As the new year begins, the Speaker wished Nigerians a peaceful, fulfilling, and progressive 2026, expressing hope that the year would deepen the bond between elected representatives and their constituents while fostering patriotism, empathy, and responsive governance.
