BAHA Congratulates Governor Bala Mohammed on Excellence Award in Good Governance and Regional Growth

 

The Bauchi State House of Assembly has congratulated the Executive Governor of Bauchi State, His Excellency Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed (Kauran Daular Usmaniyya), CON, FNIPR, on receiving the Distinguished Award for Good Governance and Regional Growth at the Nigeria Excellence Awards in Public Service (NEAPS).

The award, presented by The Best Strategic Media (TBS) in collaboration with the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, was described by the Assembly as a well-deserved recognition of Governor Mohammed’s exceptional leadership and transformative impact on Bauchi State.

In a statement, the Assembly noted that the Governor’s administration has “carved monumental economic progress, reshaped the political landscape, accelerated regional growth, and brought relief to countless citizens.” The lawmakers affirmed their continued commitment to supporting policies and legislation that drive sustainable development, adding that under Governor Mohammed’s leadership, Bauchi State continues to stand out as a hub of innovation, peace, and opportunity.

The Speaker of the Bauchi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Dr. Abubakar Y. Suleiman (Dangaladiman Ningi), who signed the statement, described the Governor as “a leader par excellence, a unifying figure, a politician known by impact, a voice for the oppressed, and the people’s Governor.”

He emphasized the strong partnership between the Legislature and the Executive, noting that both arms of government have worked together over the years to build lasting legacies and improve the lives of citizens.

The Speaker, on behalf of all Honourable Members, Principal Officers, and staff of the Assembly, congratulated Governor Mohammed on the remarkable achievement.
