The Bauchi State House of Assembly, under the distinguished leadership of Rt. Hon. Dr. Abubakar Y. Suleiman (Dangaladiman Ningi), has joined millions of well-wishers across Bauchi State and Nigeria in celebrating the 67th birthday of His Excellency, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, CON, FNIPR (Ƙauran Daular Usmaniyya).
In a statement signed by his spokesperson, Mukhtar Garba Kobi, the Speaker commended Governor Mohammed’s visionary leadership, urging citizens to sustain the spirit of mutual understanding, cordial relations, and unwavering support for the current administration to enable it to deliver more democratic dividends.
“There is no gainsaying that Bauchi State under the leadership of Governor Bala Mohammed has witnessed transformation in almost all sectors. His tremendous investment in education, agriculture, healthcare, security, road construction and expansion, water supply, rural electrification, and support for petty traders is commendable and worthy of emulation by other leaders. He has also demonstrated great respect for our culture and traditions through the construction and renovation of monumental structures across the state,” the Speaker stated.
Rt. Hon. Suleiman further described the Governor’s swift interventions in addressing the plights of communities as evidence of his exemplary leadership and compassion. “He has left no sector untouched, and his standard-setting projects have continued to create meaningful impact. Bauchi is wearing a new look with ongoing road networks and two strategic flyovers that will, upon completion, reduce accidents and traffic congestion. His support for local government, legislative, and judicial autonomy is another testament to his commitment to good governance,” the Speaker added.
On behalf of the Principal Officers, Honourable Members, and staff of the Bauchi State House of Assembly, the Speaker prayed for Allah’s continued guidance, protection, blessings, and wisdom for Governor Mohammed to continue executing life-changing projects that benefit the people of Bauchi State and Nigeria at large.
