The Speaker of the Bauchi State House of Assembly and Member representing Ningi Central Constituency, Rt. Hon. Dr. Abubakar Y. Suleiman (Dangaladiman Ningi), has secured the reconstruction of the Ningi–Tiffi road, ending decades of hardship for commuters and farmers along the route.
The project, approved by Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed (Kauran Bauchi), will feature a complete overhaul of the road, including modern drainage systems. This comes after the recent collapse of a bridge along the road, which had worsened the plight of residents and disrupted economic activities.
According to a statement signed by Mukhtar Garba Kobi, spokesperson of the Speaker, the intervention goes beyond fixing a collapsed bridge, as it represents Dr. Abubakar’s “unwavering commitment to improving the living conditions of his constituents through tangible democratic dividends.”
Over the years, Rt. Hon. Dr. Suleiman has facilitated numerous projects in education, healthcare, agriculture, security, and women empowerment, while also securing permanent and pensionable jobs for youths within Ningi and neighboring Warji. His inclusive leadership and empathetic approach, the statement added, continue to earn him prayers and support from his constituents, who see him as a leader to entrust with greater responsibilities in the future.
