Hon. Dr. Nasiru Ala Donates ₦7 Million to Constituents for Ramadan

In a bid to support his constituents during the holy month of Ramadan, Hon. Dr. Nasiru Ahmed Ala, a member of the Bauchi State House of Assembly representing Madara/Chinade Constituency, has disbursed ₦7 million to assist his people.


The cash donation was unveiled during a gathering in his hometown, attended by political allies, coordinators, party leaders, and supporters. Speaking at the event, Hon. Ala stated that the financial support was part of his commitment to alleviating economic hardship during Ramadan.


"In the first phase of the distribution, each political ward received ₦400,000, benefiting 65 individuals per ward with cash gifts of ₦10,000 and ₦5,000, respectively," he explained.


Additionally, Hon. Ala allocated ₦500,000 to his support group and media activists. He also announced plans to distribute food items to coordinators and party executives to ensure inclusivity in the relief efforts.


The Chairman of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Katagum, Alh. Kabiru Halilu, commended Hon. Ala for his generosity and urged constituents to appreciate and support the lawmaker’s developmental efforts. He emphasized that unwavering support and prayers for the legislator’s success would help in delivering democratic dividends.


On behalf of the beneficiaries, Alh. Manu Bulkachuwa expressed gratitude for the financial aid and assured that the distribution process would be carried out transparently.


The gesture was widely praised as a timely intervention aimed at easing the financial burden of many during Ramadan.
