Bauchi State House of Assembly Passes Vote of Confidence on Governor Bala Mohammed Amidst Threat by FCT Minister
The Bauchi State House of Assembly has passed a resounding vote of confidence on His Excellency, Governor Bala Mohammed, amidst the recent threat by the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Barr. Nyesom Wike, to disrupt the existing peace and stability being enjoyed by the good people of Bauchi State.

The statement noted that, at its sitting No. 51 on Tuesday, 10th September 2024, held at the Assembly Complex, the Honourable Members expressed their unwavering support for Governor Mohammed's leadership, lauding his accomplishments and dedication to the people of Bauchi State.
Members emphasized that the vote of confidence reflects the Assembly's recognition of Governor Bala Mohammed's efforts in delivering impactful governance, infrastructural development, and socio-economic growth across Bauchi State.
"The entire House stands united with Governor Bala Mohammed, who has consistently worked for the betterment of our state," they said. "We reject in its entirety and condemn in strong terms the threat by the FCT Minister, Barrister Nyesom Wike, to disrupt the existing peace and stability enjoyed by the good people of Bauchi State."
The Honourable Members urged the FCT Minister to focus on his official duties and desist from making statements that could jeopardize the peace and security of Bauchi State, describing it as a distraction aimed at undermining the progress being made in the state.
